Porcelain veneers and inlays are some of the finest restorations dentistry has to offer. Porcelain veneers are a thin layer of pure porcelain glazed on one side and etched on the other. They are bonded to natural tooth enamel with a composite resin. Some tooth reduction is required, but it is very minimal (.5 mm or less). These porcelain facings or veneers will not stain or chip.

Porcelain veneers are indicated for:

Masking staining of the teeth.
Correcting the appearance of crowded (crooked) teeth when braces are not desire or indicated.
A fracture tooth for which a crown or composite filling is not indicated.
Restoring tooth structure worn away by malocclusion.
