Laurie Hesla
Laurie graduated from OHSU School of Dentistry with a bachelor of science in dental hygiene in 1976, and then continued on to dental school, graduating as a dentist in 1981. She practiced dentistry with  dentist in Hillsboro, Dr. Miller in private practice for 18 years. She and Dr. Miller have been married for over 33 years and have two adult married daughters. She retired from dentistry in 1999 to continue raising their daughters and is now happy to return to the office to support the front office staff and manage the dental hygiene schedule. Dr. Hesla believes in the high quality of dentistry that Dr. James Miller continues to provide for his patients.

Linda Geyer
Linda has worked for Dr. Miller for the past 12 years and has been in dentistry for 27 years. She graduated from California State University, Hayward in 1995. She acquired her Oral Surgery Assistant Certification in 2003 and maintains her ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) every two years. Most recently she has added a certification for starting IV’s and doing blood draws. In the office she will assist Dr. Miller in procedures and spends a great deal of her time working one on one with patients so they understand any recommended treatment.

Lisa Carleton
Lisa has been Dr. Miller’s office manager since 1990. She is a University of Oregon alumnus and began her career in the business world before switching to dentistry. Impressed with Dr. Miller’s uncompromising commitment to delivering exceptional dentistry, she commutes from northeast Portland to be a part of this unique practice. She is happy to help our patients understand the financial aspects of their treatment and will work with them to obtain the most from any insurance or flexible spending benefits that may be available.

Terri Aldridge, RDH
Terri is a 1998 graduate from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI and was co-valedictorian of her graduating class. She has much experience in treating patients with periodontal disease, being acutely aware of the correlation between oral health and whole body health, and is always seeking out the most current research and continuing education. She treats all of our patients like family and gives special attention to detail. In her spare time she likes to travel, enjoy the outdoors with her family and is working along with her husband and daughter toward their black belts in Taekwondo.

Thanh Do
Thanh has been Dr. Miller’s dental assistant for over 30 years! She joined his team when he was first beginning his Hillsboro dental practice and has been with him ever since. She is married and is the proud mother of two college age students. Thanh primarily works chairside with Dr. Miller and has joined him in all aspects of his extensive continuing education in advanced dental procedures. She earned her oral surgery assistant license in 2003 and is ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified.
